Want to take your book sales to the next level? Specialty Sales Campaign to Specialty Shops.  First, we create a great sales presentation and get the book approved by the wholesalers who work with the specialty big box chain stores.  After the book is approved, we will start presenting your book to the 25 top retailers chosen. Each campaign is different, but some examples are: Target, Costco, Airport stores, Buy Buy Baby, Sears, AutoZone, Staples, Kinkos, Michaels, Supermarkets… we are in touch with hundreds of national chains and can tailor a program for you. Help us create the list!

3. Regional Sales Campaign.  We will send your book to the top independents and chain bookstores in your region, call the stores to announce the release of your book, pitch the merits to book buyers and provide ordering information.  We use post, phone, and e-mail, as well as Skype meetings to reach out to book buyers on a title-by-title basis. You will receive a complete report including the number of stores we contacted and a list of stores that have agreed to accept ordering information.  

4. Top 25 Mind/Body Spirit Bookstore Campaign.  We will send your book to the top 25 self-help and recovery bookstores nationwide and share the merits of your book with the book buyers and managers.  This will allow them to test your book in their stores

5. Top 25 Public Library System Campaign. We will send your book to the top 25 Public Library Systems nationwide and share the merits of your book with the Collection Development Departments and Acquisition Librarians.  This will allow them to test your book in one of their libraries.

6. Top 25 Canadian Independent Bookstore Campaign.  We will send your book to the top 25 Canadian Independent bookstores nationwide and share the merits of your book with the book buyers and managers.  This will allow them to test your book in their stores.

7. Book Industry Ad Campaign.  Advertise, in Baker and Taylor’s library email blasts and mailings.   We then contact the editors and reviewers to make them aware of the ad buys. It often makes a big difference in exposure to the book buyers and librarians who make purchasing decisions.

Now to the best part the price. They told us to price it at $1500 for each book but we would rather see your books sell more.

List Your Books on CSPA’s Website


CSPA will highlight any number of books you want on your member page on CSPA’s website.

The books will remain on the website as long as we are a member of CSPA. Each highlight will include a book cover image, the book title, the author, a 30-word description, and a link to purchase the book.

 

BookCrash Book Review Program

To help our member publishers generate word-of-mouth on the blogosphere for their books, CSPA offers a book review service, BookCrash (www.BookCrash.com).  This program gives away free copies of books to bloggers in exchange for a fair review of the book posted on the blogger’s blog and at least one other retail book site such as Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and ChristianBook.com.

 

Christian Retail eBlast

Announce your new book to over 700 Christian retailers. CSPA will email an
announcement featuring your book title, author, book cover, information about the book and the author, along with ordering information to over 700 Christian bookstore buyers.

 

Consumer eBlast

Announce your new book to over 9,000 Christian readers. Each month CSPA will send an eblast containing three titles to over 9,000 Christian readers. You can feature one or more of your titles in the monthly consumer eblast.

Announce your new book’s launch via a press release to over 200 Christian media outlets.

 

Annual Cooperative Product Catalog

CSPA’s annual co-op product catalog showcases our member publishers’ products. This catalog is distributed at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) to retail book buyers, media personnel, and book reviewers, at church library conferences, and at other Christian events throughout the year.  The catalog is full-color. Members have two options to purchase space in the catalog:  full-page ads and half-page ads. A half-page advertisement is half that size.
